Wetherby call inspection
Monday’s fixture at Wetherby is subject to the Yorkshire track passing a 10.30am inspection on Sunday.
While parts of the course are still frozen at present, clerk of the course John Sanderson remains hopeful that racing will go ahead as planned.
“We’re still frozen in places at the moment and we just want to have a look tomorrow to assess the situation formally,” he said.
“I’m expecting temperatures to stay above freezing now, and if anything go up, so I suspect the frost will go but we’ll have a look and keep everyone informed.
“I’m very hopeful but we’ll make further noise tomorrow after our inspection.”
