Bangor take a look

Bangor have called a precautionary inspection for 3pm tomorrow ahead of their meeting on Friday.

Temperatures dropped well below freezing overnight but officials are more concerned by the threat of snow.

“We dropped to minus eight last night so we might have struggled to race today,” said clerk of the course Ed Gretton.

“The forecasters have given the possibility of snow or rain for today and tonight so if it is rain we will be OK but snow could leave us with a problem.

“The temperature isn’t a problem, it is just whether we get snow or not.”
