Kingwell for Afsoun

Nicky Henderson’s Champion Hurdle contender Afsoun is likely to have his prep race for Cheltenham in the Kingwell Hurdle at Wincanton on Saturday week.

Last year’s Triumph Hurdle fifth emerged as a contender for the Smurfit Kappa-sponsored Festival contest with a nine-length call in a Grade Two trial at Haydock last month.
