Fontwell gets go-ahead

This afternoon’s meeting at Fontwell goes ahead after the track passed a 7.30am inspection.

The threat of overnight frost forced clerk of the course Richard Aldous to check conditions and he is satisfied with the state of the track.

He said: “We dropped to minus one but the fleece we put down has really helped us.”
