Board claims Eclipse Award
Ouija Board has won a second Eclipse Award after being voted the top female turf horse in America.
The six-year-old won the Breeders’ Cup Filly & Mare Turf at Churchill Downs last November, the second time she had taken the Grade One prize.
Breeders’ Cup Classic winner Invasor was named as Horse of the Year while Bernardini was the top three-year-old colt and Wait A While took the three-year-old filly title.
Other Breeders’ Cup winners who claimed Eclipse Awards included juveniles Street Sense and Dreaming Of Anna, miler Miesque’s Approval and sprinter Thor’s Echo.
