Kelso to inspect

Kelso have called an inspection at 7.30am for Friday’s meeting after being battered by the elements all day.

Clerk of the course Anthea Morshead said: “We have had some very heavy showers today and gale force winds. The rain was supposed to stop, but has gone on longer than expected.

“We could have raced today and the forecast is to be dry until daybreak with a couple of millimetres of light rain in the morning. If that was correct, we could race, but we don’t want to see a continuation of the rain.”
