Robert Alner’s The Listener jumped his rivals into the ground for a pillar-to-post victory in the Grade One Lexus Chase at Leopardstown.

Ridden for the first time by Daryl Jacob, the grey was full of enthusiasm in the testing conditions and never looked like being headed.
