The card, which features the Grade One Barry & Sandra Kelly Memorial Novice Hurdle and the Grade Two Tara Hurdle had been in some doubt to due torrential rain in the region.

However, despite conditions set to be very testing, the meeting has been given the all-clear.

“Navan’s meeting will go-ahead as scheduled,” said Cliff Noone, press officer of the Irish Turf Club.

“It has passed this morning’s inspection and they believe they can go ahead with it. There is no further planned inspection.”
