Fine for Mann
Trainer Charlie Mann has been fined a total of £1,050 (€1,600) after Considine tested positive for a prohibited substance when winning a hurdle race at Stratford in August.
The Horseracing Regulatory Authority’s disciplinary panel found that a urine sample from the five-year-old gelding contained dexamethasone.
Mann was fined £750 (€1,100) for the offence and a further £300 (€446.90) for failing to keep a proper medication record.
Considine was disqualified and the W&S Recycling Day Maiden Hurdle awarded to second-past-the-post Dazzling Jim.
