In Compliance trumped Cheltenham Gold Cup hero War Of Attrition to run out an impressive winner of the John Durkan Memorial Punchestown Chase.

Barry Geraghty was always sitting confidently aboard the six-year-old and the pair were travelling ominously well as they entered the home straight for the final time.

War Of Attrition refused to give in and rallied gamely to chase the 5-1 winner all the way to the line, but had to settle for the runner-up spot, two and a half lengths away.
