Exotic Dancer takes Paddy Power Gold Cup
Tony McCoy and Exotic Dancer at 16/1 won the big race in Cheltenham this afternoon in the Paddy Power Gold Cup.
It was terrific ride by the champion jockey, who had the horse in last place at halfway. But he produced a perfectly timed challenge going into the final fence.
Exotic Dancer stayed on strongly to beat the favourite Vodka Bleu into second place with New Alco in third and Butler's Cabin back in fourth.
The Irish challenger, Tumbling Dice, was just beginning a forward move when he was badly hampered with just half a mile to go and he was never able to get into it after that.
