TV deal to bring Irish racing to US audience
A new TV deal with a US broadcaster will give Irish racing and punters a share of a €315m betting pool.
The At The Races channel has signed a deal with American TVG.
Irish and British racing will be broadcast into 20 million American homes from next December, and TVG will provide coverage of action at key US tracks for ATR's platform.
A key part of the deal is that it will also give the industry and punters a share of a betting pool that was valued at €400m last year.
