Jeremy Noseda will put Breeders’ Cup hope Araafa through his paces along the Rowley Mile at Newmarket on Sunday morning.

Noseda’s classy colt works with an unnamed stablemate at 8.30am on the stand’s side strip of the course used on Champions Day last weekend.

If all goes to plan at Headquarters, Araafa is set to finish his racing career in the Breeders’ Cup Mile at Churchill Downs on November 4.

The son of Mull Of Kintyre will sign off from competitive action in the Grade One heat in USA before embarking on a second career as a stallion based at Plantation Stud, just outside Newmarket.

Araafa will bid for a third top-class triumph having registered successes in the Irish 2000 Guineas and the St James’s Palace Stakes.
