Cecil ready for French challenge

Rod Millman’s ever-popular Sergeant Cecil is on course to contest the Prix Royal-Oak at Longchamp on October 22.

Having lifted both the Lonsdale and Doncaster Cups in August and September, the seven-year-old went on to complete a hat-trick and gain his first Group One success in the Prix du Cadran at the Paris venue on Arc day.
