Promising juvenile hurdler Is It Me is likely to run at Cheltenham’s first fixture of the season in order to gain some experience at the course.

Having won four of his five starts over timber to date, Paul Blockley’s inmate is already being talked of as a potential Triumph Hurdle candidate.

He lost his unbeaten record when having to give best to Katchit at Market Rasen last time, however, but his conqueror has since gone on to frank the form by winning well at Chepstow.

“I was a little bit disappointed on the day at Market Rasen but in hindsight it was a good horse that beat us,” Blockley said.

“You might not believe it, but I thought I might have been a touch easy on the horse beforehand and we might go to Cheltenham as we want to give him some experience of the course.”
