Multidimensional out to clinch champion place

Multidimensional will bid to book his place in the Emirates Airline Champion Stakes when he works at Newmarket on Saturday.

Trainer Henry Cecil will send the three-year-old, winner of the Group Two Prix Guillaume d’Ornano last time, to work on the Rowley Mile course.

“He works on Saturday morning before racing with Bago’s lead horse and the aim, we hope, if everything goes OK, is to supplement him for the Champion Stakes,” the master of Warren Place said.

“We don’t have to decide now, but that’s the plan anyway.”

Multidimensional could clash with Vodafone Derby winner Sir Percy and top older horse Ouija Board among others in the 10-furlong event on October 14.
