Brown heads Mill Reef field

Brian Meehan’s recent York winner Doctor Brown heads the 15 entries left at the five-day stage for the Dubai Duty Free Mill Reef Stakes at Newbury on Saturday.

The son of Dr Fong won the ultra-competitive £300,000 (€440,000) St Leger Yearling Stakes by a length and a half from Geoff Huffer’s Cockney Rebel, who franked the form with a bold showing in the Champagne Stakes on the Knavesmire at the weekend.
