Kieren Fallon is looking forward to renewing his partnership with King George VI And Queen Elizabeth Diamond Stakes winner Hurricane Run in the Prix Foy at Longchamp tomorrow.

Last season’s Prix de l’Arc De Triomphe hero reappears in the traditional trial for the autumnal showpiece event as he continues his preparation for a repeat victory in Paris on October 1.

However, the Andre Fabre-trained four-year-old will not have things all his own way as his stablemate and Breeders’ Cup Turf winner Shirocco is among his rivals, as is the mare Pride, who beat Hurricane Run in the Grand Prix de Saint-Cloud in June.

Fallon told At The Races: “I can’t wait to ride him tomorrow. When you get to ride your favourite horses in these type of races the public give you a real lift so hopefully he can come up with the goods.

“Tomorrow is not the be all and end all but you don’t like to see good horses getting beat.

“It’s competitive for an Arc trial so let’s hope he can do it.”

Near Honour and Divine Story complete the five-runner field.
