Rico ruled out

Puerto Rico has been taken out of this afternoon’s Ladbrokes St Leger at York.

Trainer Aidan O’Brien reported the colt to have suffered a stone bruise earlier in the week and he has failed to recover from the setback.

O’Brien will still be well represented in the final Classic of the season with Tusculum, Fire And Rain and Mountain set to take their chances in the 11-runner field.
