Fallon seeking Turkish delight

Kieren Fallon will be in action in Turkey tomorrow as he lines up in the Prime Ministry Cup at Veliefendi racecourse.

Fallon, who was unsuccessful in his High Court appeal against a British riding ban on Friday, will be aboard three-year-old Bors in the Istanbul event.

He told the Sportsman: “I have never been to Turkey for a day before, so it will be a new experience.

“The Veliefendi reminds me very much of Longchamp and I am really looking forward to riding there.”
