Washington delights O'Brien

Stan James 2000 Guineas hero George Washington enjoyed a gentle canter at Naas after racing this evening as he continued his preparations for a return to competitive action.

The Aidan O’Brien-trained colt has not been seen since chasing home Araafa in the Irish equivalent at the Curragh in May. It was later discovered he had a hip injury and he has been on the easy list since.
