Vague’s tilt at the Coaching Club Oaks at Belmont yesterday ended in disappointment after she finished last in the hands of Kent Desormeaux.

The Elusive Quality filly, trained by Jeremy Noseda, won the Group Three UAE 1000 Guineas on dirt in February and returned to action in the one-mile Coronation Stakes last month.
