Hughes loses ban appeal

Richard Hughes has lost his appeal to the disciplinary panel of the Horseracing Regulatory Authority against a one-day ban for careless riding.

The jockey was punished by the Wolverhampton stewards after partnering Gandalf into third place in the Remember Family Fun Days At Wolverhampton Stayers’ Handicap on Saturday.
