Joe Janiak’s charge won the King’s Stand Stakes on Tuesday over the minimum trip and will face a maximum of 18 rivals including fellow Australasian raider Glamour Puss – although Falkirk has been taken out of the race.

Pivotal Point, third in the King’s Stand is also set to reoppose, as is Milton Bradley’s The Tatling, Les Arcs and Ashdown Express.

Other interesting contenders include the Kevin Ryan duo Amadeus Wolf and Balthazaar’s Gift and last season’s Wokingham winner Iffraaj, who will be running for Godolphin for the first time.

Mark Tompkins’ Steenberg has been declared for the race but will only run if there is sufficient rain.
