Stoute duo on Ribblesdale trail

Michael Stoute’s pair of Scottish Stage and Sindirana top a list of 18 fillies confirmed for the Ribblesdale Stakes at the five-day stage.

The pair won Oaks trials at Newbury and Lingfield respectively but bypassed the big event at Epsom earlier in the month.

Godolphin could also be double-handed as they have confirmed both Abhisheka and Reunite while John Gosden has Innocent Air and Quenched, who was supplemented for the race at a cost of £11,000 (€16,105).

Aidan O’Brien relies on Brian Boru’s full-sister Kushnarenkovo while Dermot Weld has Reform Act, third in a Listed event at the Curragh last time.

Other eyecatching entries include Vodafone Oaks sixth and seventh Time On and Kaylianni as well as the Henry Cecil-trained Novellara and Musidora Stakes third Maroussies Wings.
