Araafa turned the form around with George Washington to land the Boylesports Irish 2000 Guineas at the Curragh for Jeremy Noseda.

Noseda’s charge had finished fourth in the Newmarket equivalent but Alan Munro was always in the box seat on board the son of Mull Of Kintyre to produce a 12-1 surprise.
