Wetherby check again
Officials at Wetherby are hoping the course will continue to dry out to allow tomorrow’s meeting to go ahead.
Following a 3pm inspection, officials at the West Yorkshire track felt conditions had improved enough to merit another look at 7.45am tomorrow.
“We are going to have another look tomorrow. We concluded it had improved sufficiently today and we have quite an optimistic forecast, so we think it’s well worth pressing on and giving it every chance. Another look in the morning is appropriate” said chief executive James Sanderson.
“It’s not all quite raceable yet. If we get a dry night we think we will be able to race.”
