Andrew Balding will on Thursday have his appeal heard by the Horseracing Regulatory Authority against the decision of the Nottingham stewards to demote first-past-the-post Drumming Party to second place.

The local stewards found that Drumming Party had interfered with the second home Lady Algarhoud in the Colwick Park Handicap on May 3, and that it had improved his placing.
