Power ready for Italian test

Mick Channon will saddle his first Classic runner when Royal Power competes in the Premio Parioli, the Italian 2000 Guineas in Rome on Sunday.

The three-year-old completed his preparation when finishing runner-up to Asset in the Easter Stakes at Kempton on April 1.
