O'Sullevan teams up with Eddery
Peter O’Sullevan has become an owner with Pat Eddery Racing after the veteran broadcaster bought a share in Alfresco, a two-year-old colt by Mtoto.
The 88-year-old went to Musk Hill in Buckinghamshire to see his new acquisition just before Easter, and the veteran broadcaster is pleased to be involved with the former 11-times champion jockey’s new operation.
“I have been a keen admirer of Pat Eddery for many years and am delighted to become a syndicate owner with such an experienced and talented icon in the world of racing,” said O’Sullevan.
Eddery, who made a good start to the season when Visionist got him off the mark at Kempton earlier this month, is thrilled to have O’Sullevan on board.
“He’s a real gentleman and I’m delighted he’s become an owner with us,” he said.
