Carlisle call inspection
Carlisle’s National Hunt meeting tomorrow is subject to an 8am inspection due to forecast heavy rain.
The going at the Cumbrian track is currently soft, heavy in places and the weather forecast for the next 24 hours is unfavourable.
“There is a little bit of water lying about at the moment and the forecast is for heavy rain,” said clerk of the course Johnnie Fenwicke-Clennell.
“We are busy trying to shift things about to try and get the meeting on.
“The frost has just about come out of the ground now but it is raining now and it might have been dodgy trying to race today.”
