Ayr have announced a 33% rise in prize money for this year’s Gala Casinos Daily Record Scottish Grand National on April 22.

The four-mile-one-furlong contest will boast a total prize fund of £160,000, with £91,637 on offer to the winner making it the richest ever race north of the border.
