Warwick passes inspection
This afternoon’s meeting at Warwick has passed an early-morning precautionary inspection and will go ahead as scheduled.
A frost-free night and around five millimetres of rain allowed clerk of the course Fiona Needham to deliver the good news after she checked the track at 7.30am.
“There is only a dusting of light snow at present and we are fine for racing,” said Needham.
“It’s a bit heavy out there but we are forecast for a dry day, for once.”
The going on the hurdle course at Warwick is heavy, while the chase course is soft, heavy in places.
