L'Ami heads Post hopefuls

Francois Doumen’s L’Ami heads the 23 confirmations for the Racing Post Chase at the five-day stage.

The French handler also has the option of sending over his Grand National possible Innox for the £100,000 (€146,000) contest at Sandown Park on Saturday.

L’Ami is set to carry top weight of 11st 10lb and could use the race as a prep for the Cheltenham Gold Cup.

Philip Hobbs, who has won four of the last eight renewals, has Lacdoudal and Made In Japan entered, while Nicky Henderson has Irish Hussar and Calling Brave.

Charlie Egerton has left in Graphic Approach, while Len Lungo may have a rare runner down south in the shape of Brooklyn Breeze.
