Hereford call Sunday inspection

Sunday’s meeting at Hereford is subject to a precautionary inspection at 7.30am.

Clerk of the course Gemma Charrington has been forced to take action after freezing conditions on Friday left the course unraceable.

However, with milder conditions forecast on Saturday hopes are high that the meeting will be able to go ahead as planned.

“The course is not raceable at the moment,” said Charrington.

“We are forecast to get to as low as minus two tonight but a milder day is hopefully on the cards on Saturday along with a milder night. If that is the case we hope to be okay.”
