Towcester have cancelled their planned inspection and racing goes ahead this afternoon.

Clerk of the course Robert Bellamy had called an 8am inspection but the track is perfectly raceable after a mild night.

He said: “We have cancelled the inspection as although it got down to about minus two in the air temperature last night, it hasn’t got into the ground. We’re back above freezing now and the track is perfectly raceable.”
