A bad day for favourite backers worsened at Ludlow when a third successive short-priced horse, Marcel, was beaten in the Dinham Beginners' Chase by Norma Hill.

There were four horses all in with a chance at the second-last, but Phar Out Phavorite fell at that obstacle.
