Fakenham call inspection

Fakenham have called a precautionary inspection for 7am ahead of Friday’s meeting.

Although the track is raceable at present, clerk of the course David Hunter believes it would be prudent to check conditions again in the morning.

He said: “I’m pretty sure we will be racing but the forecast is for a chilly night with the possibility of some rain, sleet or snow in the early hours.

“Temperatures are forecast to be somewhere between plus one and zero but we felt it best to check, just in case.”

The going at the track is currently good to firm, good in places.
