JP McManus has added to his already huge string with the acquisition of impressive Leopardstown bumper winner Perce Rock.

JP McManus has added to his already huge string with the acquisition of impressive Leopardstown bumper winner Perce Rock.

The leading Irish owner bought the Tommy Stack-trained four-year-old following his debut romp at the Dublin track earlier this month, when he won by a distance.

“He looked a nice horse on the day and he won well. There are no plans for him at the moment, but he will stay with Tommy,” said McManus’ racing manager Frank Berry.

Perce Rock was cut in the ante-post market for the Weatherbys Champion Bumper following his win, but Berry stressed no plans have been formulated.
