Guy out for season
The Cool Guy has been ruled out for the rest of the season with a leg injury.
Nigel Twiston-Davies’ six-year-old was as low as 16-1 with William Hill for the Royal & SunAlliance Novices’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival after winning his first two races over hurdles.
The Cool Guy was second behind Denman in the Grade One Challow Hurdle last time but he has since suffered a setback.
“We had high hopes for him in the spring but, sadly, he’s damaged a leg and won’t be running again this season,” Twiston-Davies told the Times.
