Captain Corelli, winner of the Tommy Whittle Chase, will not run again this season after sustaining a leg injury.

Captain Corelli, winner of the Tommy Whittle Chase, will not run again this season after sustaining a leg injury.

The nine-year-old was a 20-length winner over Lord Transcend in the Haydock feature last month but he has since failed to sparkle when third over hurdles at Newbury.
