Easy for Nickname at Leopardstown
Nickname put in a superb exhibition of jumping when making all the running in the Paddy Fitzpatrick Memorial Novice Chase at Leopardstown.
The even-money shot was soon in the lead and, running free in the early stages, he quickly built up a 20-length lead.
Foot-perfect throughout, Martin Brassill’s charge, ridden by Conor O’Dwyer, was never seriously challenged and had 11 lengths to spare at the line as he won eased-down from Father Matt.
