Wetherby to inspect
Officials at Wetherby have called a 7.30am precautionary inspection ahead of their meeting on Saturday afternoon.
The going at the West Yorkshire track is currently heavy, soft in places and more rain is forecast overnight.
Wetherby chief executive James Sanderson said: “We are forecast rain and if it is significant then we might have some problem areas.
“The inspection is very much precautionary and if we get little or no rain then we will have no problems.
“Depending on which forecast you look at we could get between half a millimetre or up to five, but the further east it travels the more the rain dies out.”
