No appeal joy for McKeown
Dean McKeown has lost his appeal to the UK's Jockey Club disciplinary panel against a two-day ban for careless riding at Wolverhampton.
The jockey received the punishment after making all the running on Ten Shun to win the Wolverhampton-racecourse.co.uk Selling Stakes on Monday.
The local stewards found McKeown had interfered with the fourth horse home, Miss Champagne, approaching the first bend when moving across from his high draw.
McKeown also forfeited his £500 deposit.
