Egerton hoping for positive Approach

Charles Egerton is looking for an improved effort from Graphic Approach at Sandown on Saturday.

The eight-year-old goes for the Bet With Ladbrokes On 0800 524 524 Handicap Chase over an extended three miles after slightly disappointing his trainer at Newbury on his latest start in November.

Graphic Approach was beaten five lengths into second place by Too Forward in his first outing since being brought down in the Jewson Novices’ Handicap Chase at Cheltenham in March.

“He is an intended at Sandown on Saturday,” confirmed the Newbury-based handler.

“I was a bit disappointed with him at Newbury last time but he’s run respectably.

“I don’t know who rides him at this stage.”
