Rakti has arrived at Huma Park Stud in County Kildare where he will begin stallion duties in the upcoming breeding season.

The six-time Group One winner retires after winning at the top level in each of the past three seasons having captured races such as the Prince Of Wales’ Stakes, Queen Elizabeth II Stakes, Champion Stakes and the 2005 Juddmonte Lockinge.

Huma Park Stud manager Willie McCreery said: “Rakti has settled in really well and is a real gentleman to be around – you would think he had been here all his life.”
