Wetherby goes ahead

Wetherby have passed a 7.30am inspection and racing will go ahead this afternoon.

Chief executive James Sanderson reports the track to be raceable despite temperatures falling below freezing overnight.

He said: “We dropped to minus two and we have had a light dusting of snow but not enough to worry us.

“We are perfectly raceable at present but we do have more snow forecast for later in the day.”
