Officials at Market Rasen will keep a “close eye” on the forecast before deciding on holding an inspection ahead of their Boxing Day card.

Clerk of the course Nick Patton said: “Frost is forecast just about everywhere and maybe what we’ll have to do is call a precautionary inspection.
