Peter Bowen has confirmed leading ante-post fancy Mckelvey on course for the Coral Welsh National at Chepstow next week.

The Haverfordwest-based handler’s six-year-old is as low as 10-1 for the gruelling marathon contest after an eyecatching 11-length defeat of Jungle Jinks at Wetherby last month.
