Paul Blockley sent out his first Exeter winner when Kings Rock mastered warm favourite She’s Our Native in the gg.com Amateur Riders’ Handicap Hurdle.

Although sent off at 28-1, the winner was in control on the run-in and scored by three lengths, while the 7-4 market leader was in the end caught for second by Kings Bay.

Blockley is to send the winner novice chasing and said the intention was to run in a beginners’ chase at Chepstow on December 27.
